DOBANI 3.5 Inch Singing Bowl Panchaloha Decorated Buddha + Mallet & Cushion. Singing Bowl, Decorated, with 3 1/2 inch opening. Highly decorated spun bronze. Design may vary. Includes wooden beater & Cushion. They sometimes feature religious iconography; motifs and symbols, such as the Tibetan mantra Om mani padme hum, images of Buddha, or the Ashtamangala (Eight Auspicious Signs). The bowls are made of Panchaloha: literally translated from Sanskrit as Five Metals. The metal alloys contain copper, tin, zinc, iron and other metals.

Singing bowls are played by the friction of rubbing a wooden mallet around the rim of the bowl to produce overtones and a continuous 'singing' sound. They are commonly used for meditation, relaxation, healthcare, personal well-being and religious practice.
